Across the country, millions of acres of farmland, forest, and wildlife habitat are being cleared to make way for massive industrial solar and wind complexes projects promoted as “green energy.” But the reality is far from sustainable.
These sprawling installations often destroy fertile soil, pollinator ecosystems, and wetlands that naturally store carbon and filter our water. In the name of progress, corporations are bulldozing the very environments that make real sustainability possible. The loss is permanent: once productive farmland and native habitat are covered in steel, glass, and gravel, they rarely recover.
