More About Our Mission

American Land Rescue Fund, Inc. is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by writer and environmental advocate Alexandra Fasulo and a small, dedicated board of New Yorkers who share one conviction — that America’s open land is worth defending.

We are not lobbyists or career conservationists. We are citizens, farmers, artists, and creators who watched the rural landscapes we love come under threat from unchecked industrial sprawl, corporate “greenwashing,” and foreign-backed energy projects disguised as progress. When we realized that no one else was standing up for the people and the land being destroyed, we built something that would.

Our team came together with one shared goal: to stop the destruction of America’s land before it’s too late. Through environmental legal action, research, and grassroots defense, we challenge large-scale industrial solar and wind projects that bulldoze farms, forests, and pollinator habitats. We believe renewable energy should never mean sacrificing the ecosystems, communities, and wildlife that make this country truly sustainable.

We work independently — without corporate or government influence — so that every dollar raised serves the land and the people trying to protect it. From farmland preservation and habitat defense to legal advocacy and public awareness, our efforts are guided by one simple truth: once land is lost, it’s gone forever.

Together, we’re writing a new chapter in environmental protection — one led by citizens who refuse to look away while America’s landscape is stripped bare in the name of profit.
